Cerulean
WORK DESCRIPTION
Cerulean serves as an ode to the motion of water in its various forms to elicit freedom of movement in space. This work pulls thematic material from the various movements and qualities of water in various forms, not limited to rainfall, waterfalls, rivers, waves, and oceans. The dancers move and carve through the space like water itself flowing to fill a container, channeling water-like movement vernacular like bursting, swirling, flowing, spouting, splashing, rippling, and raining.
